I'm seriously about to sell my Bass VI and some pedals and get a baritone. Bass VI helped me realize that I can actually play guitar. I have it tuned to B right now anyways but the scale length is just a little longer than I would like for more guitary stuff. Plus it's massive and hurts my back. There are a few options I'm considering right now. Really trying to keep it in the sub $500 range. Most of this money will be generated by selling my VI and a pedal or two. Reallllly don't want to sell more than one, but I will. The important thing is the scale. It has to be smaller than 30" which knocks a few good budget options out. Dano 56 and Squier bari jazzmaster are out. If I wanted 30" I would just keep the VI.

Right?!
I haven't been this giddy about a guitar in a real long time…I think this is my rebound purchase when that blue/green EGC on here sold before I could get it last week…so effing stoked about this...

Yeah, if you (and everybody else here) would do that, I'd appreciate it.
