If you ask, you might just get a cool doodle with it.
IEatCats, try and look up. I know the whole loner game and this forum is full of great people to help that problem. So welcome and enjoy the ride.
Confession: I'm starting to think about simplifying my rig for the first time ever. At least not playing with two amps just because I can. I dunno, it DOES sound pretty awesome. The contrast between a Vox and a Carvin is pretty cool, but I dunno, I feel like I could be doing something better if I took a slightly more straight forward approach.

I've been trying to post frequently here, actually. I feel like there's a somewhat small community here that I want to be a part of.
And I love fuzz (thus the being here). I only have a BK Butler Tube Driver (sex housed in an old metal box) and a Big Muff Pi w/ Tone Wicker (along with a couple non-fuzz pedals), but if I ever get some money, I want to start building a real collection.

Oh for sure, I'm not normally too bothered by it. The being bothered by it is usually short lived. I draw and play guitar a lot more since I took the mostly loner path (I talk to my girlfriend almost constantly, so I don't feel much like a real loner, haha), and I fucking love it.

I had the tube driver. That thing is awesome. It now belongs to ILF user mauerkraut-My old bassist and best mate--So, it's still in the family. Great box it was.
And, we'll get you some new shit, soon. Its like an epidemic. Sign up for ILF, pedal collection grows 10x.

I inherited my dad's old one, so the thing is either late 70s or early 80s, but he got it used, so I have no idea, honestly. I love the pedal, though. It gives massive, fuzzy gain, but keeps the original tone somehow. It's a blues box like nothing else.

I never got too into Pink Floyd. It seemed too ambient for me, which is weird, because I listen to ambient and post rock a lot. It's not that I don't like them, just that I can't get into them.

Truth right thar. Listening to so much pink floyd when I started getting into music, I feel cheated if an album doesn't start with some long, ambient, fading in intro.

I'll give it a listen sometime tomorrow.
In return, listen to The Birth and Death of the Day by Explosions in the Sky. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Make sure it's the original and not the disk 2 remix.

They're a cool band. I was really into post rock for the longest time. Ive seen EiTS, they don't really DO it for me.
Mogwai, red sparowes, sigur ros...now that's a different story.

Have you heard of Powder! Go Away? Because their album Laika Still Want Go Home is amazing (concept album about Laika, the first dog to go to space, and the first dog to die in space). So is Maybeshewill's new one. They're two of the best post rock albums I've heard.

I'm trying to tell my parents what I want for my birthday. But I don't want to be all, "This is what I want." But it is rather specific. I guess I'm just waiting for them to ask. And I'll leave my computer on PGS's and GFS's websites just on the off chance they see it.
