Looking for something that can do a washed out layer of chords. These both seem capable. I should probably just learn how to patch my Just Friends. Haha. The SMR seems like a good compliment to the Just Friends.
Can't speak to it yet but I got a Rings incoming to see how it works as an audio processor (and source I suppose). I will report back for sure. There's an 18 minute long youtube demo where they use it to process some sounds, and that's what sold me on it.

That's called a creative restraint, something even oscy can get behind
& I made another trade this morning... Mysteron and Telharmonic are both rad but swapping them out will move me closer to where I want to be. Pics when it's all racked up

I never really GOT the telharmonic. isn't it a bitch to change chords using CV? it's what it does, kind of, right?
If so it feels like it demands a sequencer to change chords and then another to change the actual note that the chord relies on.
Not really that hard, you just find an acceptable range for the CV you're using with the attenuverters that it has.

Yeah, also you would probably not be changing the 1v/8 frequency if i understand correctly? If you have the fundamental tuned to a C, as I understand noon on the Degree knob will be a C maj, the next notch above noon is Dmin, then E min, Fmaj, etc. Changing the Tonic/fundamental would simply transpose the set of available chords to a separate key. At least that's what I seem to remember from the VC Music Theory video Make Noise posted. Someone with hands on experience correct me if I'm wrong?
If I'm mistaken this module is a lot less sexy than I think. Otherwise it seems perfect for a droning/slowly evolving background.

Within the Make Noise world it makes a lot of sense, because Pressure Points can change multiple parameters at once. And I had good results keeping the root note the same and sending an envelope to the interval control for simply chord changes.
I really wanted to use the shift register mode the most, but it requires a gate delay to work properly with some sequencers (all the ones I currently have), which really bummed me out. & As well balanced as the centroid and flux controls are, I always found myself setting them the same and not wanting to explore all of it's palette. If I wasn't trying to limit my space I would have totally kept it, so it's kind of a "kill yr darling" situation. So it goes.

Pressure Points is the module i'm still the most up in the air about. used it some, not sure how much i enjoy it? going to wait till i have everything wired up, then run the butts off of it.
if i DON'T dig it, it gives me space for either a Frapp Sapel or a Morphagene so...... yeah. would be okayyyyyyy.

I was gonna go for a Pressure Points but I'm waiting on the Tetrapad instead. Initial videos look grand.

From the Muffs thread:
Intellijel wrote:There is one small software bug/challenge we discovered that we are still trying to solve before we ship these out. It is a bit of a complex mathematical challenge and we wanted to be absolutely sure that the solution to this does not impact how the modules are calibrated.
It has been a bit of a crazy year for us in terms of delays in many sides of the business but we would rather wait and make sure the module is perfect than ship prematurely. We will try to get this out asap!

Selling my big Monorocket (480 hp total) case btw, I didn’t bother listing it here but I might eventually. Just dropped the price to $750 but it is local pick up only (Seattle.) also have some trade wants - get in touch if interested.
