The last thing that made me cry was The Road. It had been a couple years since i cried so it was much needed. Sometimes i feel disengaged...or desensitized...or something...to where i dont react like i wish i could. or something.

i still have dreams all the time about my ex, her parents, and people coming to my house and moving things out. it always makes me feel really terrible when i wake up, sad and empty.

I really enjoy doing laundry.
It's like, it's a simple task that I know how to do and can consistently do well. Sort that hamper into lights and darks? GOT IT. Shove a pile in the washer and add in a cap of detergent? I CAN HANDLE THIS ALSO. Come back later when the buzzer goes off, shove things in the dryer and come back again when the next buzzer goes off? NOT A PROBLEM. And then you pull everything out and it's all nice and warm and fluffy and you can rub it on your face and feel awesome and stuff and then you fold it all into nice neat little organized piles. And putting on a bathrobe that just came out of the dryer? SO COMFY. And then the next day, you can wear WHATEVER OUTFIT YOU WANT because all your clothes are clean.

Somehow we got onto the subject of shaving and my friend showed me his impressive collection of manly shaving implements.
I think I'm going to buy some real stuff and start shaving like a MAN.

I have basically no friends. I've just gotten so sick of the trouble that they give me, usually over my choices in life. Too many people that don't respect the fact that my relationship and "moral" structure is more important to me than hanging out with them. And I work two jobs, so I'm busy all the damn time. I mean, I hang out with people sometimes, but it's only once every few weeks.
I post on reddit a lot, because I like the idea of conversation where nobody remembers me. Everything is topic specific.
I find myself on chatroulette sometimes late at night, too. I don't ever really talk to anyone, I just like seeing people.
I guess I'm just a fucking hermit.
I have my girlfriend, though. She's my best friend, and we've been together for over 3 years now. I'm the luckiest man on the planet, and not a day goes by that I'm not in awe of that woman. I'm totally content the way my life is now, don't get me wrong. I just don't have anyone to talk to after Kate goes to bed, so I tend to mope.

Talk to us. There are plenty of dudes around here who argue for the sake of arguing, plenty of humor to take your mind off of things. And fuzz boxes. Lots of fuzz boxes.
