Didn't someone say they were interested in a Ibanez Destroyer DT520? i know a duder that's selling one. I know it's black and a year old. I just remember someone talking about an ibanez destroyer but it might have been one of the old ones.

Parker, hook me up a pic of your van and I can put it in space for you. :doom:

And if you go to Oly let me know and mutual beer consumption will occur :thumb:

Cant say for sure if I'll be mobile tomorrow, but if you're coming up it'll get me out the door for sure!

Fun overload today. Paulapalooza is an annual block party/rock fest/stoner feast put on by the Pauls, Whole pig that Scott started at 3 in the morning, chicken, beef, vats of macaroni salad, 5 flavors of home brewed mead, Annihilation Squares, I have no idea how many kegs went dry and 2 stages (each with a separate pa system that put's most venues to shame) They built a bigger one this year to accommodate the to much shit we try to pile on a stage and with I think 21 bands or performances it went non stop all day. It's all friends and what was so killer this year was getting to hear a lot of the studio guests perform with the bands they tracked with live. My back started spasming bad towards the end of it, but well worth the pain. We got the 4:20 set and what a fucking great stage. Individual monitors complete with one for just the drummer, they do it right.
The front yard has a grill neighbors built for them that gets used communally all year long. Rad. Here's scott with some of the feast prep. I love this grill.

Scott, and Tanya Paul, on the main stage fronting The Sun Giants. Seriously awesome band with a monster drummer in the form of Ryan Gill, dude is up there with Ryder when it comes to just powerful sounding drums. Check em out if you get the chance.

This is our last show with Paul on bass, this guy has gone above and so fucking far beyond for us, the new Fluxbus is his doing and his contribution to this has been huge, in stepping in so we can keep this going, and the bus thing is just blowing my mind. Here's Paul in the middle, you fucking rule.

And here is the coolest thing i have fucking ever had on any gear hauling vehicle. Thanks Paul, this is still blowing my mind. Having a partially functional body is a bitch and this is going to make an impact.

Grand Rapids always seems to have cool fests but never cool bands.

That party looks awesome!!!

And that P-Bass not too far behind. Where did you get the body, Corey? I have a sweet J bass neck that needs a P-bass body, and I love pine.

You could try a Blackarts Toneworks Pharaoh. Doesn't have a "mids" control but has some bells and whistles, different diodes that may be useful. Not a black box russian clone but may offer something for you.

You could also try the Green Russian Hail Satan by Abominable. has a mids control. Has Satan and a sickle and hammer graphic so there's that. JWAR was totally psyched on the Hail Satan on bass so it definitely dooms.

Was getting ready to sell a Westbury Standard to a guy for $350 yesterday when somebody offered me a CIJ Fender Jag-Stang. Fucking solid come up. Will probably flip, but I'm digging it so far.

Also sold my fridge to buy back the Sunn 412LH I originally bought with my Coliseum Bass. Whiskey sells me sweet unloaded Sunn cabs for way too cheap, so I took $150 that was leftover and bought a super secret 6L6 120 watt USA made all tube combo that's too good to divulge just yet.

IIRC the bass big muff wasn't related to the Black Russian, but I could be wrong.

As for the clone thing, I mean, there's so many dude it really boils down to what exactly you're looking for. Regular candidates are the Musket and the Supercollider (which are Green and NYC muff based, respectively)
