On the real though, my $3000 gretsch was made in japan and is flawless. I have no problem with high quality guitars being made in foreign locales as long as they are still high quality.
That being said...ive never actually played a duesenberg, so i have no idea, but that one i posted is siq as fuck.

Korean made as far as I know, and the ones I played weren't high quality instruments soundwise in my opinion.

I tried a few model at a store here in Quebec.
I liked the CC a lot and the 49er wasnt that bad.
Didn't liked the Starplayer TV... too thine sounding.
I like their scale, the neck feel great and pickup selection is cool.
I would have got the CC but not at this price range (they are overpriced... but not bad at all).

Meh there are enough makers out there doing really good stuff at that price point that ill never pay attention to duesenberg again.
Today I'm really gassing for this. Might buy it next month for my birthday.
