As cool as the hammered finishes are, I'm looking for something else that does a textured finish. Will report back if I find anything useful for pedals (that is also durable)

The "textured black" finish from mammoth is really awesome.

The krylon Glitter Blast has a sand paper texture and looks great with poly on it. I have been working with it also.

I did a Fairfield Babershop this weekend and I like the results. Its not as harsh as the retail model which might be a good thing. Either way it sounded good with my Jazzmaster into my Twin Reverb.

Yeah I made one of those a while and it was seriously rad.
I'll probly make a two knob version without the starve. It's an ultra sparkly overdrive.

You are right.. Mark does some great layouts and I love how he relies on us to verify most of them.. I feel like I'm helping with something.

I was thinking the same thing and replacing it with a tonestack or the RAT tone layout. We will see.

The Rat filter would probably be awesome with that circuit. So would a simple high cut like on the fuck overdrive.

Messed with some more painting last night and decided to see if I can get the same effect that Death By Audio does with spray paint instead of screen printing. Here is the results.. note: I did not have any white paint, so I did it in flat red. I kind of like it. I need to get it lined up a bit better but I think it came out as desired. also, the box was just a test box that was laying around.

actually I just made a design in Photoshop with the pen tool/paths since I was to lazy to install Illustrator. I did a "black layer" and a "white layer" then printed it on a manila folder then hand cut it with an xacto knife and then did the white layer first (with flat red paint since I was out of white) then did the black layer on top. I used to do stencil art in high school and just did it oldschool. I did toss it in the oven just to quick dry it so I can see the results. Since its just a test box I was mor concerned about the template holding up with the paint and I wanted the "overspray" look like the original Fuzz War.

Keep that up, selfdestroyer. I love stencil work.
Shell pink, stripes? Very nice. Can't really see the color well in that photo, but I think there needs to be more shell pink pedals.
