I love this thread so let me share this, opinions needed... maybe, ahaha....so I just bought crickets for my lizard and the girl that checked me out ive been talking to when ever I go in, she happens to be manager, and seems to like chit chat and gives me that sweet innocent smile...so I looked on the receipt and found her name....entered it into facebook seach, with first name then petco, and boom there she is.....so I was thinking how wierd it would be if I befriended her but if I were to do so I need to change my avatar, and hide a few strange things that may send to her the wrong image of myself... should I totally revamp my fb page for this ahhaha...says shes single....(("""In springtime, the only pretty ring time, When birds do sing, hey ding a ding, ding...Sweet loverrrrs love ...the spring.""" ))

:continuous edit: ya just went threw her page ahah ya...i know...and found that shes younger than me and is highly susceptible to persuasion from little clues and two and twos.... then I looked at my page and III dont know how this would go down but now I know she likes jellyfish too..so next time im in there il throw out a jellyfish are awesome statement and talk about church..

& BAM! I liked one of her photos and next thing I know....im blocked. well now that its over, get this.. her last name was fucking SPRINKLES.......................................sprinkles ...I have a few photos for public so thats great when I gotta go back to get somthing.

I'll second Oscillateur's feelings there—I'm generally a total wuss and avoid as much confrontation as I can, but there have definitely been some things said on here that get way into creepy territory.

Remember that this thread was started as a kind of place to joke about unfortunate sex stories and not getting laid. I think we're generally very polite and considerate on ILF for the most part, and here was a chance to be gross dudes for a minute and let loose. That said, I think it's a pretty fair request that we keep things light vs. intimidating.

Honestly, if it weren't for the "highly suceptible to persuasion" line, that story would have just bordered on creepy. Who amongst us hasn't looked a girl up on Facebook once or twice?

It also pays to keep in mind that you can't accurately gauge how much a person likes you when they're at work. They're getting paid to be friendly. I've made this mistake before.

Like recently for example. My restaurant has a "sister restaurant" and we share some staff when shifts need covered. Well this super cute girl from the other restaurant covered a shift at ours. We got along well enough, joked around a bit, seemed to have some stuff in common.

So before she left I gave her my number and said if she wanted to grab a drink sometime to text me. She was like "yeah, for sure!" And then avoided me the rest of the shift

Well I looked her up on Facebook and this girl is hanging out in yachts and chilling with rich young handsome Bros all day. I realized I was not gonna get that text. And now if we ever work together again she's gonna feel weird. And I can't be like "hey sorry I gave you my number, I didn't realize you were way out of my league until I looked you up on Facebook"

Anyways I'm not sure where I was going with this.
