I'm waiting for a Junji Ito variant.
Clips?! This is exactly how I want to hear the Miku usedClockworker wrote:Just got one. Here are my experiences with it:
I'm a noise guy, so I knew I wouldn't be using it as advertised. I tried feeding it input from my MASF OSC03, but it didn't like it, rarely output anything. I then had an idea, to use my rarely used OSC02, which is more drone oriented. I figured that would be closer to a guitar. It works better, especially if I can find just the right sound. To make it even better though, I put my Digitech Drop (which is the pitch-shifting part of a Whammy in a smaller pedal) in front of it. When it's at 1 below (I don't know guitar terms, man), it gets pretty fast. As I drop it down, up to an octave below, it gets slower, with fewer inputs coming through and it hanging on the last one. This makes it rather usable for me. I put it into some distortion and got some nice results, and then I tried doing things differently. I made a chain that went microphone > boost > MASF Possessed and then split into two parts. One went to the Drop, the Miku and then my ZOOM MS-100BT, which had some distortion, modulation, and delay on it. The other part went into a bunch of distortion pedals. I found out that the Miku, at least with this set up, can accept feedback, which is great, and can sound really cool, fading in and out of the rest of the noise I was making. I really like it, though obviously my experience is the exception, not the norm.
Sweet mother of all that is holy, post some sound clips man! Sounds like it would be interesting!Clockworker wrote:Just got one. Here are my experiences with it:

Clockworker wrote:Sure, here we go! Read the soundcloud descriptions for info. Again, I'm a noise guy, so these are noisy, you may not like them. And hopefully they got the point across and aren't just me wanking around.

Now that's cool! I'm glad I seem to have inspired someone else to do cool shit.ponyteeth wrote:I just added my Miku back on my board and was playing around, running it through some different stuff.

Miku > Ct5 in Mode 2 > Afterneath > Particle > Supermoon Chrome. An EHX 8 step, set at a slow rate, is controlling the direction knob on the Ct5.
Noise is always welcome around hereClockworker wrote:Thanks for the love, guys! I wasn't sure what kind of reception it would get, so I'm glad you all like it. If I find any other interesting combos, I'll be sure to share them!
