American breaux - I have a restock coming in soon and I need to amass preorders in order to be able to pay for it (irresponsible restock of another brand left me with too little money)

Anyone in the US interested? Limited to 2 per each pedal, PM for a price. NO VAT so we're talking pretty much standard price :idk:

(I don't usually like it because my accountant is a bit braindead and it's unnecessary problematic... but I can make an exception for you guys this one time)

So I've seen others about ask about favorite settings...and I'm gonna do the same ! I've had my Degrader for about 5 days now and it's superrrr fun. Beautiful.

Can anyone break down the Tape Input modes and their characteristics and how to get the most out of them w other knobs ?

And post some settings! Anyone?!

I'll try and get a couple settings I like over the next couple days and bring em here.

Unless I'm goofing hard, the inputs are simulating which tape head you'd be using on a real tape unit. So 1 is closer (shorter delay times, less degradation of the original signal) and 3 is further away (longer delay times, more degradation).

Just got mine! I'm having fun exploring so far but I also feel like I'm in the same state as most of us when we first got it. I'm exploring and it seems fun but I feel like I haven't unlocked it's secrets yet. The tape selector (1/2/3) is the most mysterious thing to me so far. It doesn't feel like it's doing much, but I'm sure I'll find out more as I play with it. If anyone wants to share some more tips to guide me on my way, that'd be appreciated too :D

Enjoy the rhythm! I find myself using it in a percussive way much of the time. It's a great piece of gear.

Alright a few really solid hours with this thing I am also convinced that tape stability knob and the tape input switch do next to nothing. I've tried them in almost every combination I can think of, and no matter which extreme I take those two controls to, they seem to have nearly no effect on the sound whatsoever. Does anyone want to share some settings with me to convince me I'm wrong?

Turn your tape stability knob full clockwise and switch the tape input to 3. You should have totally fucked, incomprehensible, reel-falling-off-the-fuckin-tape-player-while-also-on-fire level destruction.

Sadly nope, still sounds pretty clean and just the same. Turning RB up can get things wild but that seems to be completely independent of the TS knob and TI switch. I really do think something is wrong. Shame because I bought it brand new.

Dang, that happens from time to time though! I got my 856 new and it wasn't functioning correctly. I'm sure if you email Andrew he'll get you taken care of post-haste. That's one thing I've gathered from reading through these threads, is that Andrew is a champ when it comes to customer service.

I actually just sent mine to Andrew for repair for the exact same issue. I sent him a couple videos of the TS knob (doesn't do anything) and he thinks there's a dead pot. I also bought new a few weeks back. But he's taking care of it.

When I saw Andrews demo and the range he got from the TS knob it made me realize mine wasn't functioning properly.

It's funny, even without that knob I still love the pedal hahaha. Can't wait to experience the full range!

Hey Andrew, I emailed you about two weeks ago and haven't heard back yet. If you didn't receive it, I can just message you on here. Thanks :)

The Echo Degrader is amazing! It really rewards exploration and perseverance. RM-1N en route! Thanks Andrew for creating these magnificent artifacts!

Are there any whispers of new Industrialelectric?

Is anyone buying direct from Andrew or must retailers get their cut?
