see, i thought it was a muff. i wonder how loud the gain gets. gotta get me a foxx. but i think im about to grab a cheap fy6. UG, how would you compare the output of the fy6 to the fm2? is one noticeably louder? thicker? unpredictabler?

Hey man. Yeah, the 3 is a muff variant, the 2 a superfuzz, and the 1 a fz-1..... I think.
Your b/s/t gave me the heads up and I saw that 3 going now but I'm tied up in other things. I hope you get it, I imagine a more aggressive buzzy big muff with different tone control..

The heaviest I think fy-6. Then the Kay fuzz tone. has serious low end and a unique texture, unique fuzz that I can,t believe hasn't been cloned to death like the fuzz face. Kinda similar to brassmaster.

Foxx tone machine you would love, it stacks so good with everything.

The fy-6 is denser and richer than the fm2, with more interesting range to its tones. I think the output of the fy6 has more useable range as well, I tend to find I keep the fm2 dimed. I don't think one sounds more louder than the other, the fy6 is just a larger sound, thicker.

the fm2 feels more out of control, I think it holds it own against the fy6 with its own charms, but doesn't sound alike.

Hey, so the Infanem small echo array is pretty pretty sweet in many ways. Here i take to the sea getting drenched in echoes in the choppy waves of the possessed. Behan buzztone and zvex lo-fi junky set the stage.
