I'll throw some extra bucks your way. Or pay for your parts (minus case/PCB).

So this was done with a 9V battery as the power source. Since this shows that this method is feasible, I'll be purchasing a DC wall wart to sacrifice for etching. It did take a long time and I could have left it in a bit longer but I think the battery was dying so I pulled it to check results. Considering this is my first foray into the world of etching I am not disappointed.

I have not started figuring out what needs ordered from where yet, If any of us are more used to ordering a list of what to order from where might be helpful. I'm confident in my own ability to get it done and will put that info out if no one else does, but I don't buy parts very often and have only done so to fix amps before. The pedals I have built have all been kits.

Hey Ax, that etch turned out decent.
I really need to start researching that shit.
Still unsure about that or screening...

I'm gonna source as many parts locally as I can for this. Try and keep costs to a minimum.
Most of the resistors and caps I should be able to get without hassle, I imagine the Qs will have to be hunted down, as Nick mentioned.
I have a few LEDs lying around...might need to order some more bezels though...
On the subject of Rs, what variety are we agreed on?
Can't remember if this has already been covered...

Yeah -- I was not very clear.

I meant if somebody wanted to figure out what and where to order I'd pay for their set. Hahaa. sorrrrrrrry dude.

Yeah -- A list of what was ordered from where would definitely be cool.

I have minimal experience "ordering parts."
Looking at the BOM has me going cross-eyed so I've just laid off for a minute.

Nope, even worse, Assachusetts. Living happily in Washington now. About as far as you can get. Don't hate Mass, but life is better here. I did spend 12 years in the army and picked up a wide range of linguistic oddities. Army accent tends to become a mish mash of the whole country.

So I picked up a DC power supply from Radio shack today. Currently re-etching the same box. Looks like the reaction is a LOT stronger with the wall wart powering things. I'm kinda considering this 1590b a throwaway for research purposes. Ordered 5 more from ebay, best price I could find. I think I am going to order a couple extra of everything. Right now I am building for 3 (maybe 4) of us and I want to make sure they all get done at the same time. So a few extra's to account for fuckups seems like a good idea.

Krosis, I assume I'm ordering parts for yous as well? I'll be keeping a record of what it all costs as I go so we can figure that shit out when it's all done.
