I gotta thin the herd before I grab any new kicks

Unloaded my adidas TS pro to a friend, he was sliding around ball the other night in some terrible kicks so I hooked him up...so these are out

I've never really seen the appeal of them, mind sharing what it is you dig about them?
I see dudes spending like 400 or so on the Bred 13s and i'm just stunned. I don't get it, at all.

I just love Tinker Hatfield's designs, and I think with the VI and VII he just found the perfect expression for it. And the V. The VIII was great because it was just excessive. The latter models I've only really appreciated the last couple of years - I used to think they were minimalistic, anonymous rubbish, but now they feel kinda retro futuristic and exceedingly well thought out, especially when it comes to choice of materials and finishes. The usage of matt/gloss materials for example is just great in the latter jordans.

I guess part of it is growing up watching basketball in the early to mid 90s, and Jordan's role in that, and perhaps part of it is the unobtanium status they had for a teenager in the 90s, but these days I like to think that I dig em for the reasons above.

Still need to get myself a pair of Jordan Vs, have wanted a pair since I was 12. Got some dope Dunks a few weeks ago, I'll have to snap a pic

that makes so much sense, in the same way that I want to get a 3ds cause I wanna play pokemon (cause I've been a pokehead since fucking 1998)
now I don't feel so bad for not getting the hype about them and for really digging on the AdiRose stuff (cause D Rose is seriously what got me in basketball after MJ)

I've been wearing these for about 2 years now, been thinking about buying a new pair of shoes.

I almost broke down and copped the KD easters, like this close.
then I remembered I needed a midi cable and to pay some bills and groceries...
