It's coming together. Now I only need an SDD and a Woofer Wailer to complete the Dr. S board

is that pedal next to the cosmichorus an rrr? If so, that's a damn fine finish!AngryGoldfish wrote:Old pedalboard from this time last year...

Yeah, it's an RRR, or a Mini-Reverberator. It was hand-painted by a friend of Ryan's who I can't remember the name of right now and limited to ten pedals. Each were different and uniquely stunning. They called them the 'Heart-Benerators', after the designer. I eventually sold the pedal because I didn't like how the reverb sounded with dirt. It's the same reason I sold the Empress SuperDelay. Both were the perfect pedals, but I just couldn't jive with their interaction with fuzz and distortion.drehpehs wrote:is that pedal next to the cosmichorus an rrr? It's cool how different music, and making music, is - I never thought I would ever use reverb with distortion until I got the RRR!AngryGoldfish wrote:Yeah, it's an RRR, or a Mini-Reverberator. Yep, I agree!Ryan wrote:I think the RRR sounds awesome with fuzz and distortion, tried it with tons of pedals through the years.
That annoys me too. i think most people don't think about how they write stuff. And I can't stand it when people say "This is the worst movie/singer/actor/band..." - No it's not, you just don't like it.Ryan wrote:Statements like 'the RRR doesn't sound good with dirt' kinda bug me sometimes.. blanket statements about things that just sound like the final verdict, case closed, when they're not, they're a single person's opinion based on their very specific tastes and guitar and amp and other pedals.
