with the powers invested in me by the turtles, the puppies, the fellow old geezers, and the sheer awesomitude of fuzz
I hereby declare this topic a DEAD HORSE

Dead-Horse-Theory.jpg

if You really insist:
NSFW: show
dicks, pussies, and assholes - stop splitting pubic hairs. FBG lives her life, with or without Your love, and like it or not she is entitled the same rights to have a charity sale as anybody else, You are entitled an opinion that is more or less socially agreeable, and the World keeps on turning as ever.

Turtles. SO much more interesting than Your bitching about this and that. Almost as good as spreading fuzz love, which we should be doing.

Turtles.

Otherwise, consider this as good as locked or something to the same effect. Vote for turtles.

wow shit got really boring, when i thought it couldn't get any worse after the M Night Shamalaynian discussion.

now it's just
"i know feminism"
"no you don't, I do"
"no you don't blablablabla"
"did you copy that out of a textbook? I have a degree in yaddayadda and it's totally relevant and makes me the winner of the discussion"
"more yaddayadda about why you're wrong despite having a degree (money well invested, eh?)"

Also Scruffie = SPACERITUAL.

This thread is now about Dr. Faygo

OK.

First off. About "Dr" Faygo. And yeah, I use that term VERY loosely, and let me tell you why. I was "Dr" Faygo's father's brother's cousin's nephew's former roommate and that allowed me to pick up a little info that you guys might not know about. Like, the intstitute that Faygo got his doctorate is a joke. I don't even think it had one of the intramural quidditch teams. Not having an intramural quidditch teams denotes a huge lack of hipsters and any university worth something has enough hipsters to form a quidditch team. Red flags abound.

Second, "Dr" Faygo's doctorate is in animal health sciences. Specifically, artificially inseminating cows. The National Association for Those Who Artificial Inseminate Cows has ethical standards that clearly prohibit anyone to use their credentials while practicing in another field in a way that would insinuate that they have their doctorate in that field. As in, "Dr" Faygo should never use the title "Dr" when clearly advertising himself as a tastey beverage.

You know what. Just fuck Dr Faygo. Ok. Fuck Dr Faygo. This thread was perfection. Beautiful perfection. And then motherfucking Dr Faygo gets all broght into it.

This is horse shit.

Horse. Shit.

There's no period after Dr in "Dr Faygo."

So we should pronounce it "Der Faygo!"

Thus making it the official soft drink of Tierra der faygo.

On the bottom of the world, bitches!

MSUsousaphone wrote:1) I get that. It's stupid that people think the way to erase years of being treated unequally is to be treated even better than others. Case in put, "some stupid bitch is sexist". Had I said "that dumb asshole" about a dude, that's not sexist. Feminists are looking to have nothing disparagingly said with any feminine twinge in it to a female.....but it's totally acceptable to use masculine ones against a man...that's not promoting equality. It's preferential treatment..SEXISM.

2) This is a very masculine forum. And punches were totally held. This was backed up and supported by others who held the punches.

3) That's cool in all....but this entire point that you made
"completely stupid to say that particularly considering the massive strides in social acceptance of minorities in relation to socio-economic gain and the growth of nations. and yes, this correlation has evidence as causation (expanding workforce, happy workforce in relation to productivity, wider particupation in govenrment = more accurate and satisfactory lawmaking, etc. etc.)."
kinda has absolutely nothing to do with anything we've talked about....I'm guessing you found a cool quote in a text book or something and tried to fit it in somewhere....since I haven't seen a single person talk about women not deserving equal job opportunities or wage....it's your most valid point and is actually backed up with a lot of support....it just got misplaced in a conversation that it had nothing to do with. Or maybe you have me mixed up with another poster....?

4) "some chicks"
not all. not even the majority. "some x" is not a valid representation or observation in any capacity other than suppositious generalizing and stereotyping.
Cool. You at some point learned the definition of "some". This will help us out in further conversations. Glad you agree with my assessment.

5) That's actually NOT a widely accepted . I assume you adhere to the Tabula Rasa theory that all people are born as blank slates. The opposite theory is that we a born with inherit knowledge and skills. While we can't exactly get in to any ACTUAL fact proving here as we would just be spouting different people's theories back at each other and nothing is proven...it's all guesses at this point, we can at least say that the viewpoints that you gave that the difference of gender being more learned that ingrained in our DNA is not shared by me....and most psychologists...and is actually only adopted by the extremists in the behaviorist movement. So we can agree to disagree.

6) That's cool. I never actually called her sexist for making the vids. Must have me confused with someone else. My gripe with the vids is that she's not playing a bass and it is widely known that all hot broads play bass. No harm no foul there.

1. problem is "asshole" is a gender neutral insult. so no, it isn't sexist. tnx for playing doe

2. you're using circular logic. "men hold punches with women. this is a masculine forum therefore punches were held." its not backed up and supported in any capacity, and, again, its completely proven opposite with interactions with Devi and the other forum ladies. but wait, they're "exceptions" :whateva:

3. way to miss the principle of the thing. point being equality is real, realistic, achievable, postive, and productive. "we aren't equal its fact" is a defeatist statement with no real backing that ignores the progress towards equality what happened/is happening and will continue to happen. it ignores subtleties of what it actually means, which ends up missing the point entirely. you avoid the point making it about wage.

4. avoiding the point. in context you used some to obviously refer to ALL women as you continue to do so for the rest of your argument. picking this as a "well DUH" moment" just makes you look foolish and ignorant of what you're actually saying

5. you seem to be confusing gender for gender roles (granted, thats what i meant but not what i said) which are very much a socially enforced stigma. and of course we know that those can by broken. i mean you'd have to be a pretty lame psychologist to say that the typical queer grrrl isn't right in the head, for an example.

6. first off i never called you sexist explicitly, but your particular objections are, whether you realize it or not. if thats not it than what IS your gripe. you seem to have none other than "feminism is sexism" which has been repeatedly show to be a maHOOSively ignorant stance.

MSUsousaphone wrote:The thing is, equality is dumb, because we aren't equal. There are just certain things that certain demographics are better at than others. Now, like I said before, everyone should have equal opportunities. Everyone should have equal rights. And everyone really should. However, on average, women will always be more sensitive than men. This isn't because of upbringing or years of sexist brainwashing. This is simple biology and hormones. Equality can never happen on social level because we just aren't created/evolved equally. There's always going to be extremes and radicals and chicks that can totally hang out with guys and never be offended or guys that can hang out with chicks and deal with that whole mess (let's face it....a bunch of chicks hanging out....that gets messy ). But for the most part, this type of shit in this thread...that's what guys do to each other. We embarrass each other, we humiliate each other, we constantly rag each other, we tea bag each other's faces....that's us....so when we do it to fuzzboxgirl....we're not being sexist. We're treating her like an equal.

Don't buy all the behaviorism hype, though. It's tre cool right now because autism is the big craze and ABA is the best way to deal with a person struggling cognitively. But the pendulum always swings and in 10 years EVERYTHING is going to be cognitive therapy and the theories that we are born knowing everything and we just need to unlock it. It's best to just stay in the middle. Like that a lot of things are the way they are because of sexist social brainwashing....but also because of difference in hormone levels and the such. The truth always tends to be in the middle, anyways.

you're using a horrifically basic and inaccurate definition of "not equal" which would be better utilized as "not the same" which is a fucking no brainer. also you seem to be using some VERY ignorant stances of biological determinism, and assuming that the mental state of all women is defacto different from men in any significant factor in relation to how they act. which is pretty shitty for a so called psychologist. yes there are very basic differences but any differences on the behavioral level are VERY easy to show how ludicrously inconsistant they are to the point of them being utterly irrelevant. its not an "extreme" or "radical" for a chick to hang out with dudes or vice versa. check out literally any college campus.

quite frankly i'm 90% sure you're pulling all of this out of your ass rather than actual field knowledge because MANY of these things are horrifically outdated in regards to social sciences and the understanding of human behavior

except i do. anti-intellectualism is dum.

just admit that you're wrong, dude instead of making an issue out of nothing ;)

Urmm... I have no issues with you but really? That's not an arguement that's just fucking big headed, I hope that was sarcastic.

That's the I proved you wrong so i'm right arguement that applies when you're trying to convince others not the target of the arguement.

I say that as someone that didn't even readwhat you're argueing about in any depth so I have to be entirely impartial.
