If you really want someone to do a run of Klon klones I suggest getting a list of dozen or more people with money to buy them. Then take bids from builders. Or buy the Maxon and sharpie a horse on it.

Ummmm, so I didn't read this whole thread. But I have an over-arching opinion on cloning the Klon.

I don't like the idea of cloning something that's going into production again. Sure, we may find the price of a Klon to be insane, but that's Bill's right to charge too much. I don't see a "right" to copy it. If someone wants to improve upon the design, that's something else.

Also, Mike's work isn't sloppy. Proven by science.

Yea it's not really gonna be a Klon. It will but it will be added to/ (ILF)improved upon. No different than altering a big muff to suit your needs.
