Beautiful. I've been watching this over and over and over. Maybe I'll try this instead of....

(checks "inevitable foray into modular" fund - empty)

Can we post internal organs in B/S/T?

Deckard's Dream is simply beautiful...

Does anyone know of anything similar in non-modular form that is less than a grand? Looking for a standalone synth and I need these sounds in my life!

I remember pestering him a couple of years ago to make one. I'm set for verbs, but I'm definitely getting it regardless since the Quadraverb was my first foray into effects and something I relied on solely for years. Interested to hear how close he got. :snax:

Edit:
It will be an instant grab if the 3 modes are ChorusStrings, Taj Mahal and Reverse. Reverb diffusion and pre-delay controls are a must too.
I wish Matthew would just do a deluxe multi-unit.

He's already got the Summer, SpaceXpander, Sky-Fi....now this? 4 standalone reverbs is a bit much to me.
A deluxe unit with the Sky-Fi algos (supposedly Midiverb inspired) would be ace. I don't want to get too excited about the Quadraverb pedal as all my fav patches are personalized to my tastes and who knows what the 3 algorithms will be. God damn I hate that a 3 mode limit has somehow become the standard for most fv-1 pedals. /grumble grumble
I promise if this happens it won't be limited to three algorithms.
:!!!:

Moog 104M. Good luck?
Eeesh, that's too rich for my blood. Thanks though!

Man, I always underestimate how underrated those Laney VC30s are. Prefer them to Blues Jr/Deville.

There's nothing particularly trendy about this post, I just need a new cleanish combo amp

You can build the Mutable Instruments Ambika. Parts for the main board and six voice cards was ~$500 if I remember right.

I saw a KORG POLYSIX for $900 on Craigslist once (Strange Tales would appreciate this) in Woodbridge, NJ.
Just realized Andrew is in Australia though and deals like that seem unlikely if I am not mistaken (they are very rare in the Tri-State area).

Best deal I saw was a JUNO 60 for $650 in Philly. That one, I am kicking myself for not snagging.

These synths are voiced VERY differently from a CS-60/80. They still have a warm, expressive, sound though.

I get anxiety thinking about the first consumers that bought those old synths. Like, some consumers bought a ROLAND JUPITER, brought it home and played it...that's it. Blows my mind having access to those sounds and not living in a world as connected as ours. No demo vids, just figure out the shot yourself. Have fun!

Reminds me of the time I found a Juno 60 for $350 in Cape May. Thing was so broken and dirty though that I didn't buy it.

Unrelated but since this is the 'whatever thread' Snazzy finished the Eternal Spring VCF. Thought you would want to know.

Trying to get my hands on a FIELD TRIP. Not a priority though. I think it sounds cool but I'm not "aching" for it. It's come to a point if acquiring a pedal is not easy prey, I don't want it anymore.

Yeah, the Field Trip seems interesting (i.e. it seems to be an oscillating fuzz).

I reached out to Mr. Snazzy to see if he would make one...since I literally can't find it anywhere...I know they have issues with screen printing pedals but I truly prefer the hand painted stuff anyway. If he won't make it / doesn't answer it's no sweat to me. I have my sites on another custom piece of gear (that giant MID-FI box with the Clari (not) and Deluxe Pitch Pirate in one enclosure)

*EDIT - Just heard from Mr. Snazzy. Looks like I am getting one!

STRANGE TALES' warps is up for sale. I'm assuming your next few BST threads are the 'Fund Deckard's Dream' channels? You're building it right?

Nah, no matter what I really don't see myself saving up the $1k for a full set of PCBs. I hope he continues to have them available so I can in the future. I am going to use the Warps sale to fund parts for the 4ms SMR PCB that I really want to build.
