Kinda want a wiiU just for this.
http://www.ign.com/wikis/the-legend-of- ... ComparisonI found out about this because I was looking up how much it's selling for on GC($50 on eBay) because I bought out a few copies from local thrift stores and pawn. PROFIT.
They're also putting the Zelda oracle games on the U too.

If they go back and put in all the content they stripped to ship the original game, I'm totally in.

I hope and doubt it will be as bad as Mirrors Edge.

I WILL CHOKE YOU WITH A USED BANANA HAMMOCK.
Mirror's Edge was one of the better games for the current gen.

totally worth it for the games i mentioned alone plus the remake of starfox 64... also Korg has a synth drum machine program you can use to make beats its compatible with the 3ds even though they are ds games (love that backwards compatibilty) also heard that korg is making an updated version for 3ds sometime this year definitely gona pick that up

I just did some reading and apparently no one has been able to make a flash cart that will run 3ds games. So... I'm gonna hold off on getting one till that's fixed. I'm still tempted, though. I would love to be able to play all those 64 remakes on a handheld.

I should play more newly released games, if there are any that are good. I usually seem to play games from 3 months to a year+ old. While cheaper, when no one really talks about them and I feel kind of lame getting into older games this late.
I'd try Tomb Raider, though I might be starting self abuse by the third time I heard the words; "You can do it!".
I shouldn't have played so many MMOs, I'm so far behind in terms of game cataloging.

I haven't had a game console in about 7 years. I guess I had a Wii; but, that doesn't really count.
At any rate; I pick up a decent TV around new years; the first flat panel HD television I've owned, which being the case; is probably why it's been so long since I've had a console.
My buddy got the new XBOX 360 Kinnect and gave me his old XBOX. Soooo,...yeah the video games I've been playing are on the order of 2 to 3 years old and I'm playing them for the first time.
I downloaded Dirt 2; even though I hear that Dirt 3 has more Rally involved, I'm having a hard time coming across a hard copy locally. Dirt 2 would be better if it were more Rally intensive. All the Trophy Truck shit and stuff they added in to make it more appealing; is dumb. I guess the RallyX is fun. I played the original Colin McRae WRC on the PS1 and it was one of my favorite games, but it was all Rally; which is the only motorsport I have any interest in. Even still Dirt 2 is a fun game.
Forza 3: I didn't think that XBOX had a a game that could compete with the Gran Turismo series. I was pretty surprised by Forza. I haven't scratched the surface of the game and it's pretty solid. Not as in depth as GT but still good fun and there are some cars that you can race that you never could on GT (Ferrari, Lamborghini). This is one that I'll likely upgrade just so I can get current cars.
But my current addiction is Fallout: New Vegas. I've never been an RPGer. Final Fantasy, Zelda; I just didn't have the attention span for that. Racing games, Hockey Games, that's usually what I've played. I played GTA Vice City for a bit; but at some point I just got bored with it. I stopped doing the missions and just started sniping people from a particular rooftop and would RPG the tanks and helicopters that would come in.
New Vegas is hella addicting. I like the realism that the weapon condition feature adds; having to maintain and repair you gear. Leveling up and building up your character is fun. I can see why these games are so popular. Currently playing a good guy. Haven't gotten too far into it but I'm having a hard time putting it down. I'm methodically doing all the missions and have gotten as far as meeting the Legion in Nipton.
Oh if anyone wants to look me up on XBOX live; warwickhoy (no dot).

Just beat Bastion! Took just under 11 hours running with 4 idols (wish I knew half the non-story achievements required 5 idols >.<)
I feel the story telling aspect this game was basically sold on was a bit underwhelming, never really got attached to any of the characters and the story itself wasn't anything epic. Game play was fun, I wish there was more secret shit though (you really don't have to scour every corner of the map to get everything). With the way the ground is hidden until you get within a specific range it would have been way to easy to hide all kinds of goodies by making the path rise at a shorter distance. Instead all the "secret areas" were pretty obvious.
I'm probably not going to start new game+ right away but I definitely plan on going for 100% completion all the "who knows where" gauntlets with 10 idols is going to be stupid hard though...

The Neverwinter MMO (beta) is actually PRETTY GOOD so far. Instance-based like the original Guild Wars, combat encourages you to be active, you have to aim ranged attacks and you only get a handful of skill slots instead of 3 fuckoff-huge bars of spells. There's no mana that I've seen, the skills just have a recharge timer. The fighting is like what Guild Wars 2 almost was.
It's like a co-op game, shit rocks. Also it's the only MMO I've seen where you actually do "roll" yr stats.

God yes!
Guild Wars would be my absolute favourite game of all time and anything like it hits me in the right spot.

I love my 3DS. We should trade friend codes. I don't have anything that does online play, but I'll send you drawings of dicks in swapnote.
Also, Animal Crossing is going to be so damn good.
