Tone Axe is one of my favorite pedals, I basically use it for synth sounds, you can get some sounds out of it that are really similar to a moog freqbox.

No other filter does it for me
nothing is phatter than moog stuff, I tried 5 of my other filters and ended up saying fuck it and got a second moog 
now I has two

Ultimately im happy with the trade off.
