You meant for the volume roller?
The led helps but I don't care, it's mainly for on/off. With your foot on the pedal you can't see the led though...

It's pretty slick. I swapped out a Ghost Echo, a Talisman, and a Tremolessence for it, and honestly, it kills. Can't quite do the ultra-choppy thing that the Dr. Sci does, and it won't do the Ghost Echo modulated slapback verb, but honestly, it's working for me right now.

I regularly think I want a flint, but my only guitar buddy in town who has one always has it set real wonky and it sounds terrible. I definitely think it's just him, but it's a serious gas killer every time.

Gosh damn, some of you guys are MASTERS of small boards. Some of these 4 or 5 pedal boards are badass to the extreme. Makes a lot of sense, too, when the typical pedal these days can produce 10 totally distinct types of sound.

With just a Bitquest you can create 100 international hits

Weird. One thing about Strymon (and the Flint I particular) is that the control ranges are well-designed so that it's hard to get a bad sound. They don't get as crazy as a lot of builders with extreme ranges, but I can't imagine getting a shit sound out of the Flint. I'm really curious, actually how he sets it. I'll have to experiment and try to get a crappy sound out of it.

Yeah, i didn't mean that negatively, just as the main reason I personally haven't picked one up yet. He seems to use it more to fake organ tones than anything else, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Like i would want more verb less trem, but he just does full trem with a deep cut. Idk. Wish I could describe it better.

Pete wrote: Very nice! You gain points for those socks. What do you think of the Boss PS-5? I might order one of those Boss pitch shifters soon.
Also, do you know what the difference is between the Script Blue Box and regular Blue Box? I've been curious about that for awhile.
I really like the Boss PS series. The PS-5 sounds very digital, so if you want natural sounding pitch shifting you should consider something else. I like it for it's digitalness. Feedback + PS-5 is instant Boredoms Super Ae sounds, so that's pretty cool. I also have a PS-2 and PS-3, which are very cool as well! Never used the newer PS-6, but everyone who has one seems happy with it.
As for the script Blue Box, I think the only difference is that it looks cooler

Seriously though, I think the older script ones might be different. Mine is a newer one and I think it's only aesthetically different
Cool, thanks for the input, dude! I'd also like to add that the sparkling pink Fuzz Factory from a few pages ago was indeed awesome.

Can you guys see this?^ If not, then I can't figure out how to post pictures.

Yeah, I can't see it either. Uploading pictures is easy : make sure you have the file somewhere on your computer/device, then click on the "upload attachment" section underneath the text box, choose your image and then once it's uploaded click on "add inline" (I think) to get it in your post.
Selecting the "Img" tag only works when the image is hosted somewhere else and can be linked to from this forum, which is not the case for things like facebook.
Thank you!!
