I'm thinking about getting back into Looping. I felt like I lost focus before when I did it but I think if I did more textural style loops and less mathrock riffy loops I would get somewhere
I use it with a looper. Actually it's both before and after a looper, but mainly I use it before, so the dry signal doesn't get affected. Textural loops are awesome. I kinda wish the el caps sound-on-sound looper didn't degrade as fast. I'd love to have it always play the 1-minute-in sound. Well, that's what I'll use this generation loss+looper combo for anyways.

Shouldn't have read this page... I flipped my two CT5's yet I can never quite shake that mtl.asm gas.

First time in a while where I don't feel like I need anything in particular on the board. I mean, except the soon to be incoming endless summer, a ditto x2, and obviously a bigger board and stuff

Count to Five is perfect for texture loops. I set mine to no quantization. Mode 3 with all three loops going, one standard playback, two doing reverse, and three also doing normal, but it's hard to get the knob at exactly the same position, so it sounds ever-so-slightly off. The result is a looper/freeze/reverse/detune/drone machine that I can actually use casually with my band.
It's a god pedal.
It's really good for the "in between songs" part of a show where the guitar player has to tune. I hate silence on stage.

Absolutely, I like to use it in conjunction with my DL4 for seagues!

My old coworkers hardcore band used to all blast abrasive loops while they tuned in between songs. It was my favorite part of their sets.

Plot twist, all your songs are seagues.

Latest band board, loving the F13 all of it. Eventually the El Cap will move to my big board and an Avalanche Run will take its place.
