Thanks, they please me to no end. A lot of people look down on plywood, thinking it's for
people who can't afford solid wood, but it's stronger for stepping on, and the layers in the
wood look beautiful when stained in the final product. It means even more to me to have
made them with my grandfather, who is suffering from incurable cancer.

It's awesome that you got to do that with your grandfather.

No issues with the plywood from me.

can't wait to see the finish products and the board.

Killing two birds with one stone here...

First, Laowiz, that is so ace that you used a Big Black song name for your Percolator. Is that using the Pepper Spray board you had etched a while back? Funny story on mine. I realized after having finished mine a year ago that I've had the 2n3565 oriented the wrong way the whole time! Sounds way better now. Since I was getting over unity gain, I didn't think I had a problem and thought the Albini specs just sounded wimpier. I learned how to read schematics, pinouts, and all that better in the interim.

Second, here's the reason I recently had to think about 2n3565 pinouts as this beast was not firing up correctly first. It's a Tone Machine using the Madbean Wolfshirt PCB.

Sounds massive! I also like that the octave portion still has good sustain. Highly recommended.

Love the color and marks you got on there.

How are you getting that texture on your pedal? I used Rustolium Hammered paint but I can never get the pot marks to be that deep. I just picked up a toaster over from goodwill and gave it a shot lastnight but the marks are still not that big and defined.

Ooh. Bass RAT? Tell me more!

Clean blend, diode switch, reutz, and maybe larger input/output caps?

Yep! Except I didn't fuck with the caps at all. It sounded pretty good stock!

Thanks! I actually didn't paint this myself--it's the copper vein powdercoat from Pedal Parts Plus. I got it from a guy in a trade. It was actually just slightly used even--if you can see some dark lines above the two footswitches and below each knob, that's where he tried to do individual waterslide decals and then had second thoughts. If they don't show up, then I guess I can feel happy about my photography!

Cool! That toggle switch looks pretty hardcore.

I got to play with CBA's '87 RAT for a few hours while I had it and it was soooo awesome. I was thinking it would sound sweet on bass. Not that it has mega low end, but it just sounds cool.

Its a HUGE industrial like straight up tube amp switch. It barely fit in the enclosure hahahaha. And yeah, its crunchy as hell! I want to make another one with HUGE caps just to see how it sounds
