I bought this crazy game called Pathologic yesterday pretty much entirely based on it being described as 'Oblivion with cancer', and it's fucking weird. The gameplay is frustratingly bad and the english translation sucks, but there's something amazing hidden there; a really interesting story, a good economy, and just uniqueness. It's not fun in the conventional sense but I'm enjoying a very new experience.

Haha, C4 jeeps all day err day. My favorite thing to do in that game.
Plant C4 on a jeep, bail it so it coasts into a tank, shoot C4 with explosive shotgun rounds.
It'll say you killed the tank with a shotgun. Hacking accusations and hilarity all around!

We also like planting C4 on friendly choppers; it doesn't kill them, just throws them around

That fucking rules. I'm off tomorrow so I'll be playing it all day. I'm not doing too bad, although I think I've only been on the winning team twice. I'm not really a competitive player, so I'm not overly concerned that my K/D ratio is basically 1:1.

The first one was okay and each consecutive game has been more meh than the last. But contrary to the name, they contain minimal Assassinating. If I have more fun stealthing in Elder Scrolls then I'm not going to bother.

You and I are probably the only people on Earth that think the first game was great. I loved how you really stalked and got to know your targets in the first game - you were actually a fucking assassin. I think the new Batman games are more stealth oriented than the new AC games. However, I think the second game is the best and Brotherhood was cool because you made an army and could just walk around calling down assassins on everyone.

I seriously doubt I will continue on with the series because they are definitely milking a dead cow at this point. I played (and mostly enjoyed) AC3 to see how the story wrapped up for Desmond and because it was the 'last' game in the series.

I, too, loved the first AC.

In back and forth on picking up Tomb Raider.

Every time I see AC, I read it as Armored Core, and then am disappointed that it's not Armored Core.

I liked 4 and really liked For Answer. The boss battles were awesome. Wish I could play the latest one 'cause I heard the missions are over 30 seconds long, like it used to be...my first AC was Master of Arena. That intro got my PSYCHED, man. Too bad the fights weren't that fast-paced. Unless you got a Moonlight and Karasawa combo, then it was easy mode

The music too. I used to love this song, it was like "the" song for snowy weather.

My opinion on the new Tomb Raider is much like my opinion of Final Fantasy: The next game could be better than oral from a 3-tongued demon and I wouldn't play it.

There's only so much shit I can put up with from a franchise before I give up.

Hey it was okay, not great.

I don't know where all the people who were bagging out the first game went though, there was a massive anti AC bandwagon at one stage. Now people seem to love the series (for some reason) or just don't talk about it... then it got exceedingly popular and Ubi decided that they'll be a game-a-year like every other major series.
It's interesting that while AC got a shit smear by the mass gaming public, there is/was quite a large anti Dishonored bandwagon going around. I do absolutely love that game though, beaten it 4 times and still want to go play it again - it must've been designed for me. Everything that I wish that I could do in a game, I can.

Still playing ME1, about 5 hours in. I keep getting caught out because the autosave isn't as efficient, I died then found out that i'll have to replay another hour to get back to where I was. It's pretty fun, mostly looking forward to ME2 though.

I really liked ME1 and all the AC games I've played (the first two). I think most gamers are pickier about their games than me. I've liked most of the single player games I've played

I was not a fan of ME1 at all but I still beat it, ME2 was dope and I never ended up playing ME3.

I've never played an Assassins Creed game, watched my roommate beat the last one and it just didn't like appealing. I think Street Killers Creed is a more apt name for the series though, in watching him play most of the missions it would appear stealth is completely unnecessary. You just murder people in front of a bunch of other people and most of those people don't give a shit. Keep in mind this is just how AC3 looked, not every game in the series.

I'm going to beat Dead Space 3 today, fucking love the Dead Space series.

I want to play some SKYRIM
And am getting windows soon hopefully! I have it on steam when i (tried to) play it on my old computer and now I have a mac for work and will attempt the dual boot!

On another note, Postal 2 is on steam now. Violence, peepee, and other obscene things. It's kinda fun if you can stand (or are entertained by) all the inappropriateness. so woot!

I can't get off counterstrike. It's year 2000 all over again.

I need to get a good game for ps3 to distract me. I've never played bioshock. I might shoot for that.
