I had a reissue (the ogs were realy expensive, at least to a plumber's helper like me back then) Do you have the SGV-300 (Flying samurai were talkin' here right?) in that mustard yellow? haha. I still can't believe the cops couldn't find my old one...probably the only one with an old teisco pickup and a p90.
Haha, I still have the knobs 'cause I did the same thing with the speed knobs (cheapest of the era is why I picked them I think)! (Mostly because one of the switch broke and I just went with the whole pawn shop thing and my band talked me into doing weird stuff all the time like making clear pickgaurds with collage underlayment and relicing a space station pedal after I painted it chrome...it looked dumb, but he wanted it). Knobs aesthetics aside the wide coil spacing of the bridge pickup with the blend knob is pure genius.
But yeah, I've got to downsize, and I would love for this to go to a good home-can't think of a better one....
