I used to be straight edge through all of highschool and into college. Then when I turned 21 I started having the occasional beer. Nothing serious though!

I can't drink alcohol any more. Apparently I have an intolerance to it and gluten.

Oddly enough, I'm 32 and still straightedge. I'm the scene equivalent of a Tasmanian Tiger. People report seeing us, but no one is sure if we really exist.

Just got caught up with around 15+ pages! Holy smokes!

Like John said, I'm a fuckin' fuzz junkie. Very much looking forward to Nick's Frankenstein RAT Volt Thrower. Hoping I can get on that tour box lottery to try it out!

And Sam, congrats man! I had a fucking blast at my wedding almost three years ago. None that I've gone to since have compared to the sheer awesomeness of that party.

Actually, I was joking a few posts ago.

I'd never call myself straight edge; I just don't do any drugs and I drink rarely, regardless of the EDGE lifestyle.

Yeah, i haven't actually cared about the label since i was like 18. It's just a cool way to have my email address start and end with xs.

I'm glad that you guys A: eschew the label, and B: aren't self-righteous about it like so many.

Because I like beer a lot, and I try to never EVER ask "y dont u drink bro, have a beer, is good"

ha. I used to help my friends brew beer in grad school.

Every new job I've ever had:

Coworker: Hey, you want to come to happy hour with us?
Me: Sure
(Once we get there and i order iced tea)
Coworker: Get a beer, I'll buy!
Me: No it's cool man, I don't drink
Coworker: You don't drink? What, like a lot?
Me: No... Like not at all
Coworker: What do you do for fun?
Me: ....

you get used to it.

Who has experience with 90's Reissue OD120's? My buddy (who lives a couple provinces over from me) may be selling his. He talks very highly of it.

Anyone ever compare them to a 70's OD or OR120/OR80?

like Boxman I also had an OTR and it was exactly like the 70's ones. Great amp that gave me no problems whatsoever though I know Boxman had quite a few headaches with his.

That's like vegan-lite:

Coworker: Hey, you want to come grab a bite with us?
Me: Sure
(Once we get there and i order fries)
Coworker: Get a burger, I'll buy!
Me: No it's cool man, I don't eat meat.
Coworker: You don't eat meat? What, like a lot?
Me: No... Like not at all
Coworker: What do you do for protein?
Me: ....

Then some long discussion I never wanted to have where I get asked a ton of questions and I'm just like:

it's cool, you eat meat, I don't, let's hang. I'm not here to preach but people always take that statement(I don't eat meat) to be some preemptive moral strike. Dude, meat is delicious, you eat it, that's cool. I don't, stop asking why.
