Well I'm using a mixer, so I just have it on it's own channel and adjust the level to taste with the dry signal. But you could use something like the saturnworks blender looper, where it's just a single loop but it has a mix control to blend the pre-loop dry signal with the post-loop wet signal. Does that make sense?kpsta wrote:Please explain this dry blending more. I have an ARF and I'm trying to figure out where to put it among my other things...
Yes, thanks!ritz wrote:Well I'm using a mixer, so I just have it on it's own channel and adjust the level to taste with the dry signal. how bad is the bypass on the D&S?

It's not that I'm poor or stinchy, but I insist on sticking to non-booteek peds unless I have a good reason not to. Most of the time I can find what I need in cheapo peds, and in some case I like 'em more than the more pricey alternatives.
The bypass on the D&S doesn't bother me THAT much, it's actually pretty okay on the overly bright normal channel of the AC15C2 I play through at home. But it does roll of quit a bit of treble it seems, so I figured I might as well fresh up on my soldering skills on a true bypass mod

if it works for you that should be all that matters

I think you need to check in on the Doom Room.vidret wrote:this is the only time this thread will have the amount of pages as the year it currently is.

I have TRS cables dangling from the echolution (to control the delay time) and from the Randy's Revenge (to control the carrier frequency). I can swap them back and forth depending on what I'm doing. It is possible I may also throw one on the Four Eyes fuzz, so that I can use both my pigtronix dual expression pedal and the 8 step...depending on how the 8 step sounds there. We shall see.UglyCasanova wrote:Nice! What are you controlling with that 8 step?
