Behndy.
What're you using to sequence pitch in hat patch? My phone screen is all jacked up so I can't seeeeee it in the photo above, but is seems pretty fuggin neato.
I've been looking for a sweet pitch sequencer to pair w my circadian. So CR could take care of my master clock, Folktek shit, and drums while the Tonestar and any other vco are sequenced by something cool. Rene and Cowhatever acircles were the contenders but what you're using seems pretty usable and versatile.

Speaking of Rings anyone have any favorite percussion style modules? Not drums. Or favorite techniques for coaxing bubbley, drippy, clicky, bongo things? I've been using the Plague Bearer and SVVCF which kind of gets me there. I just figure a Rings would get me there quicker without tying everything up. But if I'm to dumb to use Tides...

I have an Optomix, and got the bongo thing once. I guess I need to read the manual again and see what the hell I'm doing wrong. I'll focus on that tonight.
Yes, I was looking at the Plonk too.

I just figured since it was new it would be a pain in the ass to get a hold of. I'm hoping to hear some more demos.

Antlerrrrrrs - it's all the Belgrad! it's a closed hat and open hat sample from the BitBox, no modulation there, into the Belgrad, it has the freq being slow swept by the Batumi. it's actually a straight quarter note pattern, every time it cuts out is when the freq sweeps too low. HELLUVS FILTER.
so, somewhat related - modulars into my K-Mix is WAY too hot. i have to pull the trim all the way down, like, 1 or 2 step up at MOST, but some stuff, even with the trim emptied, distorts.
and like, it's actually a good sounding angry distortion, and i've used it. but i'd rather that be a feature than a bug.
what 8 in 8 out, hopefully tiny, can i use to attenuate the signal? i mean, i'm going to grab a pair of Pragas and go then into the K-Mix, so that might work. but anything else's to look at?

I can get Optomix bongo by setting the knobs completely to the left and hitting the "strike" input with a trigger.

Will be getting rid of Tides. Thinking about losing Spectrum, SVVCF, and maybe the Plague Bearer. I'll need to spend another week or two with them before I really decide. The Spectrum is great and covers everything that the Mangrove doesn't. But I do have a Minibrute for the more standard kind of things.
Unless somebody is looking for those and has a Rings they are wanting to trade.

You can ping Three Sisters! And you can ping each input seperately! Can get some pretty cool things going on with enough triggers and just Three Sisters by itself. Just turn up the resonance until just before it starts oscillating and ping away!

Just got done pinging all my filters. Three Sisters sounds great. I think the problem I was having with the optomix was having the vco going in was tuned to low. I started off just striking it and it was ok. I guess not what I expect in my head hearing the word bongo.
As a bass player, higher frequencies frighten me.

I've been eyeing the Just Friends as well (for similar reasons) but to be completely honest I still struggle to understand what the fuck the JF does.

New case, all the modules all at once now.
Currently listening to it drone away. DPO oscillators are cross-fm'd + synced and tuned to the Telharmonic, whose three voices are detuned just slightly and is being fm'd by the synched oscillator. Slow modulation to timbre of Telharm and the Final output via looping envelopes. Changing the frequency of the synched oscillator changes the timbre of every sound without changing the pitch.
damn shrinking that photo really fucked with the resolution
