NICE! I really like the look of that one! I actually love the way Fenders look.
Soooooooo I'm thinking of flipping my bass for a different bass. Basically I want something really similar like a Big Al or Bongo, or shit a Stingray. But I want a 5 string. The 5'er I have now fucking sucks and sounds like shit. I love the way Musicman's sound, but I'm horny for 5's. Fuck me right?
Here's my bass. Would I be nuts to do it you guys think? I'd be trading down most likely as this bitch cost me 2600 new when I bought it! Perfect world situation is somebody trading me the exact same bass but in a 5. Never going to happen though.

Well I don't have a lot of dough right now because of having a shitty job at the moment. I've thought about just saving up for awhile. I mean a five isn't a must, I just have been Gasing for a nice 5. I'd probably really regret getting rid of this though.
I've also though about using any and all Birthday dough I get this year to get a new bass.

Turns out, the output jack didn't have a ground wire hooked up, so five minute fix! Also, the neck pickup mounting ring was broken, so I just took that out, and I felt like stringing it only with 5 strings for extra Melvins/400 Blows mojo.
Ha, that's cool. My first guitar was a Hondo LP Custom w/ super distortion HBs. Plywood body and a bolt on neck. Thing was a feedback monster. The neck just snapped one day and I chucked it in the trash...
Good deals done with all these guys Canada, we put the "u" in satire

Yes, nuts and not in that good endearing sort of way. You've sold pedals that you seemingly came to regret the day you dropped it off in the mail. How do you think getting rid of this will make you feel?
Get an affordable 5'er that doesn't suck, play with it long enough to decide if you can live with just a 5'er. Then either sell your entire board again to fund a Stingray (you downsized and got it back up to respectability once before plus there's no OOP stuff on there) or as a last ditch effort list your gorgeous bass. But you better be damn sure.

Word!
Also, when you're dealing with gear that expensive, fuck trading down unless you find exactly what you want. Replacing a beloved guitar/bass that costs nearly 3K is no easy task.

I mean...the super distortions might have been worth hanging onto? Eh? hahahahha, but, still, that's pretty rad.
