Is it bad that I kinda like Breaking Benjamin? :erm: Um..their older stuff, I mean...not the stuff from their newest album.

I just think the vocalist has kind of a cool/unique voice :idk:

Dude it's not bad to like anyone, you should like who you like, frustration on my part comes from everyone asking you about them like you knew them, we were playing basements and parking garages while they were playing at clubs, didn't really run into each other.

They do sound a bit like a cover band that got signed, meaning you can listen to the album and think "this song sounds like disturbed and this song sounds like nirvana"
not always a bad thing, but not ultra original: that being said yeah the singer definitely had some pipes on the first disk.

the visual is pretty cool, and the sound goes all over the place, kindof cool because you could find places in the room that actually had almost prefect EQ and balance, we used to walk around and then set up a recorder in a hot spot.

of course other places you would stand would just have drums.

I've been thinking about playing music all day, all throughout work, & I come home and play guitar and feel nothing. No joy, no determination, nothing. I hate this.

try thinking of some song or riff that you like. it doesn't matter what it is, or if it fits with what you do, or if it's total crap...sometimes nothing's lulzier for me than playing the "Enter Sandman" riff, or the coda to "Runnin' Down a Dream." there's got to be something that gets you somewhere, whether it's guts, nuts, or funnybone.

I got into it for a bit just now, but started losing it again (and it's late) so I put the guitar down. But I seriously think my depression is creeping back into my life and I really hope music doesn't lose it's positivity on me like this again.

Sorry if I'm directing this negative shit towards you, I kinda just need to let something out in some way.
