I have demos of the Waifu on my YouTube. Great pedal. Thinking of using it for vocals in my band nowadays.

Also I dig what you do with the Walkmen (Walkmans???) - do you service broken ones or just have impeccable skill at finding working ones? I've been heavily discouraged in my attempts to collect tons of cassette decks because I've been burned by several that just don't work, even after cleaning

I guess the DOD Meatbox reissue is down to its last 200 units because they ran out of the NOS chips. Get it while you can

hoping to get a demo of the brand new stuff up this weekend.
has been a hectic last 2 months. traveling, building, getting awfully sick, dads knee replacement surgery, became an uncle, crazy wind storm and snowpocalypse within a couple days of each other

re: walkmen, prob a lil of both. def have gotten better over the years at sifting thru the bunk stuff
i clean them really good, and fix certain issues if i can. some stuff i don't mess w/ tho
because working parts are hard to find, and troubleshooting is time consuming.
thinking of some way i can use all the non working ones i have stashed. art project?
i got like a checklist now that works like 80% of the time maybe
i still get burned…it happens. most of these walkmans are like 20-30 years old now
now i always bring a cassette, some batteries and some headphones w/ me to the thrift store so i can test on the spot.

whatever gear post: usb midi controller i made for myself last week. used a Teensy-LC board and a random spare box.
was surprisingly easy to setup as a usb midi device. even figured out how to change the device name so it doesn't show up as "Teensy Midi" anymore when i plug it in.

Yeah Ends and Oceans is really rad. Bob the Robot has a sweet demo of the one I sent him in the Secret Satan thread from last year. I'll try to dig it up.

Sheeeesh...I've found a job I wanna apply for right. I haven't even written the application yet, but I'm already planning what I could do with the extra disposable income for the year. So far the list includes shit like a Sub 37/Polysix/Whatever, Adam A7X's, Wombtone MkII, a WA-76, Avalon U5 and some other stuff. This is either motivation or super unhealthy.

I'd say that motivation is generally unhealthy.
