Following up, Odin got to try his treat and absolutely loved it. After trying to bury it in blankets and his bed for a few hours, we finally convinced him to eat it and he absolutely devoured it!


Also, hung my 5th Avenue right beside my desk. It's perfect!

My deductive powers essentially browsed through some posts in the sign up thread and looked at location to try to find a match (state was NM, I think...though I can't really remember anymore and the box is long gone). I didn't find a match, so I moved on. I thought it would be good to know who hooked it up, but sometimes people prefer to remain anonymous

The last box in the mail has blasted its way out of Mos Eisley, er, um, got through Customs and it should be inbound soon!

Update: a box has arrived. (une boite a arrivé!)

I'm sooooooo fucking happy it made it to you. I've been so scared of it getting lost, you wouldn't believe, haha! Ending ILFSS 2022 with an actual unboxing video would be absolute class. But, if not, at least it got to you (and you seem happy about it)

P.S.: google translate tells me that "søvnløs" is pronounced more like "sevenless" than the "sohvenloss" that I had thought.

My gear has stayed packed up since I brought it home from that gig last month, but this is gonna give me an incentive to set some stuff up!

I was hoping you'd read the "manual" first, because you did what I expected most people would do, and think the parameter named "volume" is the overall volume, when it's in fact the volume of the oscillators (so if you turn it down, you can use the thing as a modulator and filter for incoming signals, or turn it up and drive the filter harder). So basically, you mostly played the filter as it self-oscillated with an LFO moving the cutoff freq in that video, which is also very cool and totally viable

I actually made a little demo of it, to have something to remember it by. So I'll upload that now. Maybe you will find some cool settings from watching it, although I think your way of playing it was much more inspirational and fun than mine

Man, I really did enjoy myself watching the unboxing. I promise to do an unboxing video next year. It really is the one true way
