it's good that the foot did not go ball the way home... coz if they'd lost on saturday, Id have to play a set to a crowd despondent about their goddamn football team

also if they'd won the whole thing then brexit racist types would have a whole extra thing to swing their fat paunches about

Hockey is better than soccer in every respect, with exception to fake injuries.

Most of Led Zep's discography is pretty bad. Respect for JPJ though.

that ain't controversial at my house, and i was in fuckin' high school when their first album dropped. the only Zep albums i like are "IV" and "Houses of the Holy." that band needed an editor with a sharp pencil more than Nirvana did.

Physical Graffiti tho! I dunno—I like all of em, perfectly happy with that butt rock troglodyte side of my personality, haha.

On that note, heard a funny interview with Jim O'Rourke recently where he was talking about how much he loved LZ, and someone asked what his fav was. "Presence, no question." I found that hilarious for whatever reason, yet also unsurprising.

The reason all the significant issues continue to cycle through human history with incremental progress at best is because voluntarily disrupting personal convenience is too exhausting for most people.
