Ugh, wasn't sure whether to Make a new thread or just post in here, but I had been wanting an oscillating fuzz for a minute, and got an INFANEM 141G because of this thread/these videos (and price). It arrived this last Wednesday a few hours before my first show with a band I just joined. Brought it to practice, showed it to bandmates and everyone was like "Fuck yeah, let's put that in the drum solo in the second song," and so there it went for the show. I don't think anyone in the audience necessarily understood what I was doing when I crouched down, or that those sounds weren't coming from the synth, but it sounded great and made a previously sparse part "make sense" in the set. To the band at least.
Because of this thread, I am hooked. Want to eventually try the two Paradox pedals and so many fuzzhugger/dwarfcraft shits. Thanks Eivind.

That's awesome! Glad my demos could help in some small way, and spread the gas for noisy fuzz. It is a wormhole without an end in sight, and I'm trying to pull as many players as possible down with me. Spread the love, spread the noise.
In other (but really the same) news: Got a Blackout Fubar and a Bananana Shooting at the Moon incoming, so new demos will emerge in time.

I snagged the Fuzz-E-Cat from Eivind and have been using it since. Highly recommended. Slays on bass.

God damn. Not what I need to hear. (but totally what I need to hear, did that defibrilator get flipped?) I like the 141G on bass, and I will almost definitely keep it, but there are so many oscillating fuzzes to try.

The Defibrillator got flipped, yeah. Too heavy for me. Great fun, though.

So, this came in the mail the other day, and here's the result. This thing is much more crazy than I thought it would be when I bought it. Awesome noise chaos, with some neat functionality. It's a lot smaller than one would think, and it's enshrined in a really sexy enclosure, so it has some serious aesthetic appeal as well. Buy one and hang it on your wall. But man, those sounds. Maybe you shouldn't hang it, but rather plug it in between your guitar (/instrument of choice) and amplifier. This thing is pretty crazy regardless of the settings, but it covers a wide ground of noisy pleasure, from white noise via industrial carnage to synthy goodness. Be sure to check out Banananas other stuff as well, they've got some neat pedlols!

That is beautifully rude sounding, Eivind.

Blackout Effectors Fubar

This thing has some really neat functionality with its second footswitch. It basically lets you switch between two 'SAG'-controls, which means you can switch from oscillating to non-oscillating, vice versa, two different oscillation pitches etc. with the stomp of a switch. It also lets you control the secondary (or primary, it doesn't really say) 'SAG'-knob with an expression pedal, which means easily controllable oscillations and weird gain-sweeps. Pretty damn neat!

Haha that was hilarious and informative at the same time

"Surprise thine enemies" made me burst me out laughing... brilliant stuff (and the pedal sounds pretty good too!)

Let the darkness consume you. As indicated by my somewhat overdone commentary, this fuzz is marketed at a specific niche in the noise fuzz market. Do not let that fool you. This is an awesome fuzz regardless of genre and/or metaphysical belief system. A somewhat basic oscillating fuzz, that does all the "ordinary" stuff, and does it well. And it is really cheap, so there's no reason not to try one out for yourself. Yeah!
