the difference between doing it this way and just using a feedback loop is that the delayed repeat goes into the Miku. It's got an input delay buffer to let the bend function work, so if you don't put enough delay between the output and input, it will just detect it's own pitch and drone. Full disclosure though, I don't own a feedback looper like the Chk Chk Boom, but the drone is what happens when I prop the guitar against the amp.
Pretty much same experience. A stereo flanger works too which is what I used in my video. Fed it back into the input and let the gltchy swells trigger miku.

So I've seen this advertised on random social media and what not but I never really paid any attention to it. I'm just not at all interested in the Japanese/Hentai thing. But I saw a review for it and had to look up the video. What the actual fuck? :wha?:

If someone has no friends, they can feed it a pulse and put it on random so that they can pretend to have someone jabber at them all day.

Going to record this soon (after I finish moving the water heater): theremin->88->memento->miku. Instant fun.

Miku sounds so awesome paired with the MASF Possessed, and the Afterneath.

I have a suspicion someone will record something brilliant with one and they will suddenly be worth a ton. I adore mine. One of those totally inspirational pieces of gear.

Amazon has it for $130.

http://www.amazon.com/HATSUNE-STOMP-EFF ... miku+stomp

Super intrigued by this thing. I've got this idea in my head of taking my normal direct recording rig (tons of pedals and a vox tonelab) into my Akai Eie Pro, then hooking up a cable to the clean out of my Pigtronix Disnortion and plugging that into Miku and Miku into the Akai. So I'll be recording 2 tracks at once and then pan them in editing. Gruesome dirty fuzz on one side and Miku on the other (perhaps phased, delayed or something) and slightly offset each other....

giggety.

Why can't I find any demos running this into a fuzz pedal? Am I the only one that's curious what it would sound like to push Miku into a Great Destroyer?
Honestly, I still just really, really don't get it

Just got my Miku Stomp. Have some ideas for it, and definitely will try shoving it into a dirt pedal (since I'm still in a stacking phase) and hopefully do a video with it though I really see this pedal as giving a vocal quality to dark and heavy riffage.

If you want an idea what my final video will look/sound like here's my latest: https://youtu.be/caJ-fe5Nmvo

I kept having problems with mine overloading and then "freezing" or it getting like overloaded and really quiet? It didn't like certain input signals in my noise setup and I would have unplug it and reset it all the damn time. Still got some nice vocal pads out of it from time to time. But that freezing/overload thing sucked. Still would be curious to mess with it again with my lower output stuff I have now.

I always put mine up front because the peak light just goes wild. I know what you're talking about and I'm wondering if they have released a newer version at all. I can't imagine putting it after any sort of pedal or it will just overload.

Might pick one up again someday; it's not a gotta-have-it for me though. Just a curious weird thing that was kinda fun and cheaper than going to disneyland or something, haha.

I usually kept it at the front when I played guitar too. Just when I fed it an osc fuzz + trem or something it would crash. I ain't a good enough guitar player to keep it going (you know, actually play it).
