Like the new knobs on the Shaky Jimi.

Actually that's not a bad Univibe clone.

I love it! It sounds great and is priced reasonably. I wish I had $300 for a Fulltone, but I don't. I machined the knobs at work out of Delrin so I can change the depth and rate with my feet...

hey slurry, you ever recorded with your boss me-50??? my friend just got one over the holidays and we tried recording it thru a direct box and it sounded wayyyy bright and trebly especially the higher gain distortions. def not true to the sound that comes out of the amp. we've tried other setups (w/o the boss me50) that sounded good and true thru the same direct box. just wondering what your experiences with it were.

ooh and im currently drooling over that MFOS WSG. :omg: :omg:

I haven't recorded too much music with the ME-50, It's kinda new. But most of my music is just noise anyway, so I don't spend a bunch of time EQ'ing the sound from it. But I imagine if you mic'd the amp and shaped the sound with your mixer it would work out beautifully. And I've had good luck getting good sound out of the distortions by messing with the Tone and Bottom controls. Also don't forget to utilize the tone selector at the top left.

Thanks for the comment on the WSG.

If you find you're not bonding with that DN, shoot me a PM; I'd love to work out a trade for one. Is it one of the red-eyed-tarsier DNs?

It's the tarsier one, but I don't think I'd trade it due to its a gift.
