That clock noise does worry me. I thought it may have just been my device. Now I'm not sure.

From the man himself:
It's pretty accurate, there is some amp hiss. Analogue delay, BBDs, have a lot of intrinsic noise. Much like a tape. We reduced it to levels comparable with other analogue delays and are quite happy with the results.

Anybody know the min and max delay time of the DMB Lunar Echo?
I can't seems to find it anywhere.

Not sure on the minimum but I've read the max is around 500ms.

Does the modulation speed change at all? I know it pops up randomly, but when it does, does the modulation slow down and/or speed up? That is to say, is the modulation speed also random?

You should just ask that on their Facebook page.

Don't have a Facebook. I'll e-mail Fairfield.

It might take a while for them to get back to you on it. With the release of the delay and the redesign of the Barbershop, I'll bet they're pretty busy.

I'm getting the Maude anyway, just wanted to have a bit more info on the modulation.

It's not all that important, I guess. I've found that the most important aspect of an analog echo for me is the ability to change the tone of the repeats, which sounds really good on the Meet Maude as far as I've see in the video.

Pop, both depth and speed are random. However, there is a bit of a cyclical feel to the thing and it has to do with how quickly the pitch stabilizes which is directly related to your actual delay time. I'm not sure if that makes any sense...

Thank you friend! That actually sounds really cool... it's like rhythmically random or something. I like that the depth can go random too, that's something that I didn't consider.

Really looking forward to this echo box.

Thanks again! :hello:
