I love my SD-1. Use it as a boost or overdrive. I do not care, it all sounds good. Plus, TU-3... :thumb:

Even though they've been mentioned to death in this thread, I love old MIJ Boss. I'd like to try either the RV-3 or RV-5 some time. I had a CE-2 once that was just the perfect subtle chorus. Also have owned a PS-2, which was gnar-gnar. In short, old MIJ, delays, 'verbs, and pitch shifters are all things Boss does right. Can't say I'm crazy about the dirt. Never tried the HM-2, though. Oh, and the loopers are sweet also.

Try the Xtortion. It's really unique and has way more useable sounds than the HM-2. On the other hand, the HM-2 is way more versatile than it gets credit for.

Ds-1 was the first pedal I ever bought, and I can't ever seem to get it out of my setup. Regardless of what other pedals I'm using, something about the high end on that thing always adds that little bit of extra crackle I'm after.

I think it's worth mentioning the VB-2 again. Fuck, is that thing awesome. For a reasonable clone that cops some of what it's capable of, the BBE Mindbender's Vibrato mode is quite lovely.

VB-2 is one of the nicest pedals I've played through. It sounds amazing. I totally see why people pay stupid money for them.
I will score a deal on one eventually. All I have to do, is keep waiting.
Forever.

God, if I could just give one a test drive....the owner wouldn't want it back because I'd totally blow my wad on it right then and there. Shamelessly, even.
