I'm pretty sure if you stare at that pcb for long enough one of those fancy 3d illusion thingies appears.

Haha Jeff that's so cool that you can do stuff like that! Looks awesome!
It'd be cool to do a run of etched boxes... let's chat if you're up for something like that...
Thanks for checking it out guys!

There's only one layout flub.. right behind the input jack there's a transistor that I had to fold over to get out of the way of the square protrusion on the back of the jack... dumb mistake but considering all my previous proto flubs, I'm pretty happy with this layout!
So now I'll tweak and experiment and push certain sections to find their noise limits...
Wow Ryan you are such an amazing designer and builder. This looks INCREDIBLE.
I'm not ready to ditch my v2 in favor of this baby yet, but if you're planning a tourbox count me in. And if you need any help organizing a tourbox I'd be happy to help.

Thanks bub! I'll probably do some sort of traveling Cosmi, soon as I get it perfect... it's still in the tweak stage for another weekend or two I betcha.
It's probably a good idea to have an officer of the law handle the tourbox, good thinking!

So ready for a touring V3 when that happens! Though that will probably lead to buying one... good for Ryan, not so good for the wallet

Well guys, the great thing about finally having a perfect prototype and being able to really dig in and test and tweak and evaluate the circuit is that I get to learn things about it that I just can't tell on the bread board.
What I learned with this layout is that it's even darker than the v2 and has more clock noise. Really discouraging at first but I'm glad to know it now and I've realized what needs changing and what I did wrong to deserve this setback.... and everything else about it's perfect so it's still progress, although I need to do circuit tweaks and a new layout with all new flippin reference designators.
I know this overhaul is taking a crazy long time but this pedal just has to be extra perfect right out the gate... it's gonna be worth it!
