REALLY? I mean, they're awesome but to be your fave band?
I saw them twice... once with These Arms Are Snakes and again with the Dillinger Escape Plan... effin insano concert!!

My fave band is Sly & the Family Stone, hands down. Super creative, awesome songwriting, great vocal arrangements and really innovative studio tricks (for the time).

there are many that could make this list, but I think it'll have to be My Bloody Valentine...and NOT just Loveless. Loveless is a great album but they have so much win in their brief catalog.

Elliott Smith. And Miles Davis's Bitches Brew/Kind of Blue crew. Definitely a three-way tie. Definitely.

Without Bitches Brew I'd still be trying to put as much Kurt Cobain and Billy Corgan in my music as possible. But now I do more interesting guitar things than steal from interesting guitar guys.

It was the trippiest thing I'd heard until a buddy got me into Can. Tago Mago is now my biggest tripfest.

Listened to Tago Mago on the way to the studio for final mixes. That album is really really cool. It's just so groovy...
