Woah at the SPM!
On a more serious note on my part:

Shin-ei (among MANY oter manufacturers) Hurricane/Volume/Wah/Siren/Surf pedal. Ultimate noise pedal ftw!

I always thought the whole ModFX line from Alesis was WAYY underrated. I'm rocking the Bitrman, the Faze, and the Ampliton right now.

Do you know if there's anyone out there who's successfully rehoused these? I'd be interested if I could put 'em on my board. Although, for home recording, desktop-only is fine by me...

IDK about underrated (considering the ridiculous prices that the Bitrman and Metavox go for)!
Though some of the other models are definitely underrated IMO.
I really like my Philtre, and I'd buy the Ampliton just for stereo panning... Both of those models still seem to go for reasonable prices, at least.
The biggest downside is the stupid Alesis adapter... They REALLY need to make a daisychain AC adapter for their 9V AC units...
Does vaporware count?

My friend once told me that he read about ebayers getting scammed buying these unreleased ModFX units... IDK if it's true, but basically, someone sold the empty display shells saying they contained the circuitry, and buyers got ripped off! Just a warning, in case you ever come across an "UBER-RARE" display model of one of those ModFX units that never went into production...

Anyway, I use my Philtre on the floor all the time! It just takes a gentle toe-tap on the bypass button (or being placed in a looper).
I got mine second hand... It's got some scuffs and scratches, and I've dropped it at least once, but nothing's gone wrong yet.

i think louislingg made a compelling case for the
Alesis AIr FX . so i am hoping that if something obvious is going to be cited, a least make a convincing case for why you think it is underratedorundertheradar, at least price or functionality-wise.
thank you very much bigchiefbc for your contribution to this thread. i appreciate it.

It's great if you can find one for a reasonable price... The only thing that really sucks about it is you can only use ONE effect at a time...

just got an ineko a lil while back and it is BOMMMBB.
