at least the current Gong is trying to carry on in the spirit of the original organization rather than trying to reiterate what was already said, including working with important figures from their past like management and soundmen. and there's some continuity because Fabio Golfetti worked with Daevid a fair bit before he died.

Damn this reminds me of those bootleg cassettes I used to buy at Camden Market at the end of the 1980s! I wonder if that 'recorded in a bucket' vibe is what got me interested in lofi broken recordings in the first place? Never saw the Spacemen 3 live, but did go to the Town and Country Club a few times... heh currently working on building a reverse sawtooth tremolo circuit, so very Spacemen 3!
