i think the official name was 'wineburst' but i prefer the more popular 'watermelon burst' for those. I have wanted a K200 for so so long, and I was selfishly bummed when eastwood reissued them in case it drove the price of the OGs up.

so...curst? :p

I'm not usually the biggest fan of this type of 'burst, but there's somthing about this i like. The body shape helps, and the big black guard. Definitely like a dark guard with all manner of burst. This would look good with red tort too, imo :snax: I could also see why some folks would be like eww, though :idk:

ha - I just saw that first one and decided to wait to post - you saved me the trouble :thumb:

I wish some of these 'bursts didn't have such busy grain :idk: I'm kinda like, one or the other. Actually, I'd usually rather have a burst than all that flame or quilt or whatever. That LP is nice if you like LPs (which, I don't hat'em). I actually think I like that last one best.... :snax: but those PRS bird inlays annoy me :grumpy: c'mon man - maybe give the bats a chance....

I am not a big fan of coloured sunbursts :idk: but I have been feeling more and more attracted to more traditional bursts...
I used to have this Jaguar Bass that I thought was really gorgeous. Unfortunately, I had to sell it a few months ago when I moved... :(
