Does country really even count as covers though? They all kinda pass around the same standards and songwriters.
"Stepping Stone" is one. Three bands recorded it in like a year (Paul Revere and the raiders, the monkees and one other band). Other band released first, Monkees second, and Paul Revere later (actually recorded first). Did it become a cover when Minor Threat did it? All the versions are good. Monkees one might be the best?
