So "going Cuba" is being totally satisfied with your current gear because you don't have any money so you pretend you don't need anything more?

Semantics I guess but I would not like liken it to pretending... it just has to work. No sense in dwelling. You have to keep the car running because... you're not getting another one. It's not delusion, it based in reality.
