Makes sense if you’re contractually obligated to rep other gear (tho it’s kind of like putting a different hood ornament on a car), other than that- if you’ve got the tape and the time, have at it.

What if you put tape over your knobbies so you don't mess up your settings in transit, or by stomping clumsily with 30 pound (or 2.14 stone for D.O.S.) Doc Marten feet?

Sometimes I think the super straight-edge, super underground, DIY hardcore Leeds bands should put tape over the Nike logos on their shoes.
