I'd like a compact version of the Maestro Sound System for Woodwinds (essentially an analog organ voice emulator) that automatically shifts which voices/registers are active based on the intensity of the users body odor/pheromone content.

I'd like a pedal that approximates a holophoner.. with an fx loop.

Maybe as a rack module, but that's lame. This is me paraphrasing Pladask/DRod discussing the possibility of making such a pedal.
Are you familiar with the Logidy Epsi? It should be able to give you a fairly accurate IR representation of any acoustic space. I have one, and it has definitely surpassed what a lot of other reverbs can do.

This is rad, but the max time is about 14 seconds too short.
I'm looking at it and I am really impressed. I think I'm going to grab one for my studio.

Surely in a studio you can just you use a whole bunch of convolutions that aren't tethered to stompboxes though?

Yeah if you're not tied to the pedal format, DAW-based convolution reverb is leagues ahead of that unit.

Pultec meq-5-ss in pedal format

-transformer coupled in and out
-3 bands, 3 inductors, each selectable peak or dip (instead of fixed peak-dip-peak)
-3 linkable footswitches, 1 per band
-variable Q control

pros: its utility; i.e. turn your fav dirt pedal into 3 (more) variations in sound without (or minimal) phasing issues, the headroom.
cons: expensive & mundane, niche af

When I find myself with better finance in my balance, I'll approach Pulse Techniques to make it happen or acquire parts and diy, maybe.

You know what'd be cool? A delay where, instead of switching between voices, there's a knob that lets you smoothly blend between tape and analog voicings, for example. I bet there are some great sounds to be had from a delay that's halfway between two voicings.

50-50? Parallel blend box like LS-2, or any of those dual delays that can do parallel. DD-500 will let you go back and forth between 2 modes by messing around with envelope or at a fixed rate with the internal wave pedal.

Morphing ala Vortex? Yes please!

This probably does exist, but a pedal that was just the preamp from the DMM would be cool.

Here is that part of the DMM. Super easy to build but not really worth it because the specialness of that circuit is that its driving a delay line. I guess you could build one with no bypass to give the same effect as a DMM since you no longer get a 'dry' signal but the boost on its own isn't any different from other clean boosts on the market.

There's someone who builds space echo pre's in a stomp and aims it at setzer/rockabilly types. Surprised boss/roland haven't done it yet, but then when were they about doing boring shit like clean boosts???

It helps to have smart people around who can help me understand why my ideas are pointless. The idea was because I just think that pedal has a bit of grittiness that I really like and sometimes wish you could get without the delay. Or that you could put in front of other effects. Like other delays or reverbs. Or chorus. But I don't really know what I'm talking about, so maybe it would be fairly boring or not special once it was separated from the rest of the circuit.

Somehow once it gets referred to as a clean boost I find that I totally lose interest in the idea anyway.

Harpsichord/Harp/Clavichord/Vibraphone emulator (pretty please EHX)?

Gibson Kalamazoo G-101 keyboard emulator, or at least the pitch glide and other effects that can be heard on most of Sun Ra's 1973 output (there are a lot of dope ass released, unreleased and 'lost' albums from this year). Here's two mixes I put together of his incredible music from that special year:

73 Sun Ra Disc 1

05 Pathways To Unknown Worlds (12:34)
06 Myth Evidential (13:20)
