That makes my brain hurt. Get the feeling in 10 years this will be the next PPL in its own weird way.

This will be an enjoyable process to determine if I need to start saving up for one, thanks for the opportunity JWAR!

Then perhaps the pedal itself would have you even more "confuzzled".

I sat down with it yesterday for a few hours creating loops. The pedal is a bit daunting, but if you follow the instructions, step by step, it's not that difficult to use. It's all about making sure you're in the right modes and shit like that.
I think if you use this for some crazy ass loops, it could be an awesome recording tool or live tool. I recorded a cool loop in Garage Band but accidentally deleted (LOL). I'm going to ship this out this week also. Just need to figure out the mapping part of this. Thanks!

Good to know. Seems like a trip of a peda. It’s interesting to think about in the context of band type music but in sure plenty of dudes are doing that type of stuff.

without a motherfuckin doubt! This pedal is so incredibly complex and involved its mind blowing. Granted, the fact that Scott had to place the knob control listings in the middle of the pedal makes it that much more confusing, it makes me wonder what the guts of this beast look like.

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't get a chance to ship this out yesterday as planned!
Tomorrow will be the day for sure.

Much love.

I hope you're able to record a little something before sending this off.
It would be interesting to hear the progress of a single (complex) 856 pedal
measured in a series of clips as it wends its way across the continent. I'd be
curious to hear what sounds it makes with different hands/levels of comprehension.

Alright it has arrived in my hands. I was able to get the count to 5 without reading much on the manual but this is a whole different beast. Already getting some texturely interesting drones. Ill report back later when i can knob a bit better

Oh man! I’m so excited!
I can’t thank you enough for this incredibly rad experience!
I’ll have to brainstorm ways to record a demo, but at the very least,
I can share my thoughts on how it stacks up against (and with...

) other loop mangling devices!

You're welcome
Just so everyone knows, the list isn't an indicator of where it will be going next. I'm kind of mapping that out as we go along. lol. It will go to the next closest person to who had it previously.
