The iron ether Nimbus is a sweet reverb for bass.

Others may be able to chime in about how good they are with bass, but nobody's mentioned the Dr. Sci Reverberator or the DBA Reverberation Machine yet... definitely both worth a look. The DBA would definitely be in the weirder camp, but seems to be a little tamer than the RM-1N. The Reverberator is pretty much my desert island verb pedal.

Have you had a chance to try any of the neunabers? they can do a really lush and massive sound but are very controllable. And he does the taper on the mix knob perfectly.

Bitquest also has a very huge reverb, but I often find it starts to clip as it feeds back on itself. Again, it sounds great if that's what you need. But if you want the wash to stay clean and lush sound i'd lean on the neunaber.

FWIW, I love (and use) the RM-1N, but it's always on the edge of instability when you get to those really big washes. Which is fun if you don't need stability/precision.

EQD avalanche run also has a great and huge reverb (and delay). might be worth checking out.

It turns out I don't have as much cash as I thought I did as apparently I bought a bunch of records this month so I get another couple weeks to think about all these suggestions.

On my way to buy a used Cathedral - stereo I/O, saveable presets, great selection of reverbs, infinite and reverse modes. Everything I want.

So if I don’t post here tomorrow know the guy has me chained up in his basement and is likely eating my corpse.
