Bought a cheap old Alesis drum machine, but then sold it and almost everything else in a frenzy in January 2017. Retained a pitchblack and an EQD hummingbird, which I shoved in the closet and played without effects for about 6 months.

Bought a Darkglass Vintage Deluxe on a whim, but then returned it, even though it was pretty sweet.

Bought a Frazz Dazzler in the BST but passed it on down the line.

Then we have in:
Fuzzrocious Cat Tail
Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh
DOD FX-75B
MXR Analog Chorus
BOSS RV-3

ALMOST sold a G&L Fallout Tribute that I had left sitting in a closet for about a year and a half, but decided to rescue it so now it feels like I have a new guitar, even though it was just an old guitar that I was neglecting.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

You know, I thought I'd done really well this year. :picard: I generally have to sell to buy, hence the huge list of sales - note lots are £30 pedals too, which I've now lost my taste for. Part of me wonders why the hell I don't just not buy anything for a year or two and just get the easel I've wanted for the past decade.

Also JayWarr should be JWAR's signature WARR guitar.

Hmmm, was the Dream Reaper this year? That was pretty neat.

Apart from that, I bought another PS-2 after foolishly selling my old one, and the Dwarfcraft Grazer, which is way underhyped on here.

Oh, and the LAL 87 Moduloscillo. :zen:

Favorite gear of the year:
Utility - Keith McMillan KMix has been 100% indispensable to me. I've used it all but one or two of my shows & it's my main audio interface in my bedroom studio. Not released this year, but I got it late December last year & I'm still finding more uses for it.
Module - Make Noise Morphagene - More like MORPHADREAM. 100% dream sampler, will never look back from this.
Synth - Folktek Mescaline is a truly unique experience, something that changes every time you use it. Incredibly interactive, and definitely a "high art" kinda instrument.
Pedal - tossup between Adventure Audio Dream Reaper & Fairfield Shallow Water. Dream Reaper is everything I've wanted a crazy fuzz to be, and the Shallow Water turns anything you feed it into a gorgeous stew.
Biggest Regret - Selling all my Industrialectric pedals, but the $$ was nice. Also the 856 would be cool to have back, but doubling your investment sometimes is worth a sacrifice.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

After seeing all these massive buy/sell lists, I feel like there needs to be another thread for what gear you actually kept/liked/connected with.

....or maybe all pieces of gear are just grains of sand passing through our fingers as we slowly march toward death? :erm:
