Zdar has the craziest wall of outboard I've seen, handful classic big boy synths too.

I like these small cramped spots best. This is my style. Just put a bunch of stuff in a room and hope for the best. Also, Pendle Poucher...could there be a more English English name?

Francis Bacon was also into tiny spaces for his painting.

The great filmmaker Chris Marker's studio is too big for my liking...but I like his style.

How many of you took a picture of your balls after seeing the thread title, opened it to post, got super disappointed after. I know I did.

Nigel Sandlebottom? Clifford Trufflebridge? Heath Figglestone? Gordon Liteworts? Theodore Pogglebain? Hugh Boothroyd?
Kind of disappointed to see the mind that spawned La Jetée doesn't have a more colorful nesting area. The white walls are too institutional for my taste.
(also that HD came from another dimension. OBVIOUSLY.)

HA HA! Echorec you stump me again!!!
Regarding Marker, I guess that was his later day studio (the one they had to go in after he died). He was a nomadic dude so I don't think he actually had a spot during the making of his earlier films. There's a new book out on his methods and studio but it's too much money.

Loved this one too. His studio is too big for me but Daniel Pemberton is the best!!! I really want to hear his album that Stockhausen reviewed.
To entice people to watch this, 1. Daniel Pemberton did PEEP SHOW 2. CS-80

Those creative cribs episodes are awesome! I’ve been watching on my bus rides this week. Cool to see how people make spaces work for productive sound creation.

You think we believe you don't have about 1000 of those photos at the ready?
